Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and Cuffplay (“we”, “us”) for using cuffplay.com and the Cuffplay app (together, “Cuffplay”). By creating an account, or by using the test or other tools, you agree to them and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Cuffplay.

1. Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live. You confirm this when you start the test and give your date of birth when you create an account. We may ask again, and in the app we also use signals from Google Play. Accounts that belong to minors are closed (you can ask us to review a closure within 14 days). Cuffplay is not available where its use would be against the law.

2. One account, website and app

Your Cuffplay account works on cuffplay.com and in the app. Keep your sign-in secure — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Use one account, with true information about your age. Tell us right away at safety@cuffplay.com if you think someone else has access.

3. What Cuffplay is — and isn't

Cuffplay offers self-reflection tools (the test, your map of interests and limits) and private spaces for two adults who already know each other to talk about, agree on and keep track of what they want. It is not a dating or meeting service, and it is not medical, psychological or legal advice. Information on Cuffplay is general; you decide what is right and safe for you.

4. Consent comes first

  • Only invite people who want to be invited, and only share what you are comfortable sharing.
  • Anything on Cuffplay — a shared item, an agreement, a task, a points balance — is never consent to any act. Each of you can say no, change your mind, pause, leave or block at any time, with no reason needed.
  • Respect each other's limits. Never use Cuffplay to pressure, track or control someone.

5. Not allowed

You must not use Cuffplay to:

  • involve, sexualize or endanger anyone under 18 in any way — including content, role-play or invitations; see Child safety;
  • threaten, coerce, blackmail, harass, stalk or intimidate anyone;
  • share someone's private information or intimate content without their consent, or try to identify someone;
  • pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your age;
  • offer or ask for paid sexual services, or advertise, spam or post contact details to move people elsewhere;
  • post hateful content, or content that encourages self-harm or real violence;
  • break the law, or help anyone else do so;
  • interfere with Cuffplay: scrape it, probe or bypass its security or limits, reverse engineer it, or use bots or several accounts to get around a block or a ban.

6. Your content

What you write and create stays yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process and show it — only to the people you share it with — so Cuffplay can work. The licence ends when the content is deleted (see the Privacy Policy for timing). Don't post anything you don't have the right to share. Copyright complaints go through our DMCA process.

We don't read private spaces as a matter of course. We look at specific content when someone reports it, when the law requires it, or to keep someone safe.

7. Reporting, blocking and enforcement

You can report a person or content from inside the app, or email safety@cuffplay.com. We aim to act on reports about a child or about someone's physical safety within 24 hours, and to respond to other reports within 72 hours. You can block someone at any time; they are not told why.

If you break these Terms we may remove content, limit features, end connections, or suspend or close your account, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it's safe and lawful, we'll tell you what we did and how to ask us to look again.

8. Ending, leaving and deleting

You can stop using Cuffplay at any time. Delete your account in the app (You → Delete account) or at cuffplay.com/account/delete. You have 7 days to change your mind; after that the account is permanently deleted, within 30 days of your request. When a shared space ends, each person can download their own part for 30 days before its content is deleted.

9. Paid features

Cuffplay is free to use today. If we offer paid features, the price and terms will be shown before you buy; purchases in the app are handled by Google Play under its terms, and charges appear under a neutral name.

10. The app and Google Play

The app is licensed to you, not sold, for personal, non-commercial use on devices you control. Google Play's terms also apply to how you get it. Google is not responsible for the app or these Terms.

11. Changes to Cuffplay and to these Terms

Cuffplay will change over time, and we may add or remove features. If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect and, where needed, ask you to accept the new version in the app. This is version 2026-10-10.

12. Disclaimers

Cuffplay is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these Terms, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We aren't responsible for what users do, on Cuffplay or offline.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Cuffplay is limited to the greater of USD 100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Cuffplay's operator is established, and disputes go to its courts — unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to use your local law or courts.
